I spent the weekend on a three day trip to Stratton, Vermont -- first time I was there. The weather was warm enough to be very enjoyable for everyone, but cold enough that it didn't ruin the snow for skiing, so the ski club I drove there had a good time. The only glitch the whole weekend was that my confirmation number didn't match the hotel's and they couldn't find my room reservation, but the girl behind the counter at the Liftline Lodge was very gracious and managed to find a room for me anyway.
The photo above shows Stratton Mountain behind some of the lodging at the resort, and was the view I had from my room in the Long Trail House, just across the street from the Liftline Lodge. In the photo at the right are some of the Stratton Village Shops. The small Blue Moon Cafe in the middle of the village makes great omelets for breakfast -- check it out next time you're there.
