02/27/2004 Archived Entry: "Even a Funeral"
My trip yesterday was my first for a funeral. What a logical idea -- if you have a lot of family and friends having to go out of town for a funeral, why not in a motorcoach, where they can support each other while leaving the driving to us?! It makes sense to me!
Wednesday I drove for a corporate group going to central New Jersey for a company meeting. This afternoon I leave for three days at Stratton, Vermont, with a ski club. I'm glad for the warmer weather forecast for the weekend, but I'm not sure my passengers are too thrilled about it.
I've added a new forum in the EightWheels.com Forum, under the category "Places to Eat, Stay, Visit" called "Seeking Motorcoach Visitors." It's a spot for organizations seeking motorcoach visitors to let drivers know about them. One entry is there already, for Smokin' Joes near Niagara Falls, NY -- a good example of the forum's intended purpose. Check it out!
