One of the best trips ever was when we took an early December Holiday trip to Hershey. First we went to the Hershey Lodge where we enjoyed a wonderful meal (many things had chocolate in the ingredients, even though you'd never know it:) and a terrific show! Then, we had someone board the bus and had a tour of the town Milton Hershey built. Then, we had time to shop at Chocolate World (and you wouldn't believe how discounted the chocolate gift items were in early December! Some of our bus trippers walked around with a skid full of gifts! We finished our day driving through Hershey Sweet Lights. It was a great trip and everyone keeps requesting we do it again. However, there are too many great places to go and things to see and foods to taste and experiences to enjoy and Life is too short so....enjoy all your trips!!

Our bus trippers will probably melt this Thursday when we go to the Kutztown Festival! I'll be sure to give everyone a bottle of water as they exit our coach. I've never been to the Kutztown Folk Festival and I'm really looking forward to the good food (I heard funnel cake was invented here:) and the beautiful crafts, especially the magnificent quilts made by the Amish women! If anyone has ever been here and has any tips, I'd appreciate hearing them! Thanks!

My group is eagerly awaiting this trip we have scheduled for Aug. 18. This is a 3 hour cruise on an authentic reproduction of a Victorian Paddleboat. We'll have a fabulous lunch while we hear all about the history of the area. Then, we'll visit Popcorn Park Zoo. This wonderful facility is an animal refuge. They have all kinds of animals and each one has a story to tell. I remember when my son was a Boy Scout, his Scoutmaster had a summer home in Toms River. The boys brought items to the meeting for a month (rolls of toilet paper, papertowels, etc.) which would be useful to the facility and the Scoutmaser dropped off everything and was well-received. The members of our two busses (this trip went over incredibly well and sold out faster than any we've had in the past!) look forward to bringing much-needed items to Popcorn Park Zoo. I'll let you know about the trip after we come back!

I took my group on Friday, Feb. 12. Everyone able to make it to our bus described described this trip as a "slice of Heaven in a World of Snow." It surely was!
