My group is eagerly awaiting this trip we have scheduled for Aug. 18. This is a 3 hour cruise on an authentic reproduction of a Victorian Paddleboat. We'll have a fabulous lunch while we hear all about the history of the area. Then, we'll visit Popcorn Park Zoo. This wonderful facility is an animal refuge. They have all kinds of animals and each one has a story to tell. I remember when my son was a Boy Scout, his Scoutmaster had a summer home in Toms River. The boys brought items to the meeting for a month (rolls of toilet paper, papertowels, etc.) which would be useful to the facility and the Scoutmaser dropped off everything and was well-received. The members of our two busses (this trip went over incredibly well and sold out faster than any we've had in the past!) look forward to bringing much-needed items to Popcorn Park Zoo.
