No major company has "bought" Union Station parking.  However, now with all the push on route trips instead of tour trips, you will find MegaBus, Datco, The Go Bus, Bolt, etc. taking up most of the parking at Union Station.  

Along with that there is a new entrance.  Off of H Street there is an entrance for buses only.  

I hope they are wrong, but the company I work for is "pushing" the route trips and putting the tours on the back burner.  They are saying that the route trip is the thing of the future.  That tours will end in the near future.  I hate to see such narrow sightedness.  

There are companies that are trying to do both with the route trip as their main bread and butter.  

I hate to see it happen.  I would rather do charters/tours than route trips anytime.  I have done both so I know what I prefer.  I would hate to have to drive the same route day after day after day.  To me that would get very very old.  

But if that is what happens to the industry, I guess I will have to go with the flow if I want to keep driving those eight wheels down the road.
