Howdy all!

My name is Frank, I'm 27, and I drive for Coach Tours based in Brookfield, CT. I started driving motor coaches in August 2008 and became a full time driver for my company in May 2009. We currently have 15 MCI coaches. 8 – 45' 55/57 passenger coaches, and 7 – 40' 47 passenger coaches. We mostly serve customers in Putnam and Dutchess counties in NY and Western CT, and we will take you anywhere the pavement goes and we can fit. I'm not going to say my company is the greatest, but it certainly isn't the worst. The busses are always clean (probably because we get paid to clean them), breakdowns are few and far between, and the mechanics in our garage keep up on the PM's on our busses like it's their religion.

I got in to driving busses when I got fired from a warehouse job, and started out with my local school bus company. I drove school bus for 2 years and decided I wanted to see more than my local area. Coach Tours gave me an opertunity to drive and I have made the most of it since.

To me driving is a passion. If I have nothing better to do, I'll drive 2.5 hours from my home in Walden, NY to Philadelphia, PA just to get a cheesesteak from Pat's King of Steaks (who are suprisingly friendly when I show up with my Mets hat on). I like to travel so it makes sense to me to work on a job where I get to go to many diffrent places. It saves me money, it saves miles on my car, and I get paid to do it.

I know many of you here are by far more experienced than me and I look forword to seeing your insight on many of the issues that affect us as drivers.
