My name is Bob Bergey, and I’ve been driving motorcoaches (tour buses) since 2002. I drive for Hagey Coach, Inc. (pronounced HAY-gey) located in Franconia, PA, about an hour north of Philadelphia. But note that this is a personal site, and is not affiliated in any way with my employer. Opinions expressed here are solely my own or those of the various commenters expressing their own views.

Passions of mine include driving, digital photography, writing, travel, the Internet, and technology in general. This site is my way of marrying those together, and sharing them with other motorcoach drivers and passengers around the US and Canada. It’s also a great way for me to pass the time while I’m waiting for passengers, and for keeping my friends and family up to date on where I am and what I’m doing.

Motorcoaches have eight wheels — you knew that, right? So now the domain name makes sense, and you should be able to remember it! Bookmark it now and come back often — there are new things here to see and read regularly. I started the site in 2004, gave it a major makeover in 2006, another complete makeover in March of 2009, and the current look in July 2009. New features include regular Twitter updates so you can see where I am or what I’m doing (right sidebar), and featured articles from my blog are on the home page, with articles and reviews of interest to motorcoach drivers and passengers. The new design allows me to keep it up to date much easier than ever before, with new information added on almost a daily basis.

You can easily contact me by email using the Contact Me page — use it to let me know if you have questions, ideas, problems or suggestions for this site . If you’re a Twitter user, you can follow me @eightwheels (link in the right sidebar) to see where I am or what I’m doing. New photos are added regularly to my Photo Gallery linked at the top of the page (and I’ll post notes in my blog here, too, to let you know when there’s something new). To be sure you don’t miss anything, subscribe to the site to be automatically notified anytime there is a new post here — just add your email address in the box near the top of the right sidebar and follow the instructions that follow (email addresses are not sold or used for any other purpose — your privacy is assured, and you can easily unsubscribe at any time).
